Foreman/Journeyman:

Nappa Electrical Contractors is currently hiring experienced electrical foremen/journeymen to run mid-large scale projects with multiple electricians and apprentices. The main responsibility of the foreman will be supervising the project as a whole, from the overall construction means/methods, down to the details. Additional responsibilities are providing on-site direction and leadership for fellow workers in order to complete jobs within specific guidelines that include quality standards, schedule and budget considerations.

 The foreman will be responsible for many different aspects of the job, including building per construction documents, customer relations, material management, and quality control.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Foreman position requires a current Massachusetts Electrical License

• Minimum 5 years experience

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle

• Ability to work 1st shift including weekends and holidays

• Ability to lead a crew of 5-20 workers

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills

• OSHA 10 Safety trained


APPRENTICE:

Nappa Electrical Contractors is currently hiring experienced electrical apprentices to assist and train with journeymen electricians on commercial construction projects. The main responsibility of an apprentice will be the installation of electrical equipment and systems per construction drawings and in accordance with NEC code.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Current enrollment in journeyman school is not a requirement but is preferred

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle

• Ability to work 1st shift including weekends and holidays

• Strong willingness to learn and work safely

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills


HVAC CONTROLS ELECTRICIAN:

Nappa Electrical Contractors is currently hiring Apprentice and Foreman level Building Automation installers having 2+ years experience with projects in a commercial environment. We offer a stable work environment with consistent projects and excellent career growth potential.

DUTIES:

  • Installation and terminations of various types of low voltage systems such as Delta, JCI, Schneider, Automated logic, Honeywell, etc.

  • Piping, Layout and installation of sensors for custom AHU/EAHU, etc.

  • Installation or wiring and make terminations for VAV, EVAV, FPT, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current enrollment in journeyman school is not a requirement but preferred

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle

• Ability to work 1st shift including weekends and holidays

• Strong willingness to learn and work safely

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills


LOW VOLTAGE TECHNICIAN:

Nappa Electrical Contractors is currently hiring Apprentice and Foreman level low voltage technicians having 2+ years experience with projects in a commercial environment. We offer a stable work environment with consistent projects and excellent career growth protentional. Foreman responsibilities include providing on-site direction and leadership for fellow workers in order to complete jobs within specific guidelines that include quality standards, schedule and budget considerations.

DUTIES:

  • Installation and terminations of various types of low voltage cable systems such as VOICE/DATA, A/V, FIBER, CCTV, etc.

  • Building of communication rooms/closets with equipment racks and cable management systems.

  • Termination and testing of completed systems and equipment

  • Installation or wiring and make terminations for VAV, EVAV, FPT, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years experience

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle

  • Ability to work 1st shift including weekends and holidays

  • Ability to acquire variety of Hand tools to perform electrical work. Tool list available.

  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills
